MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State men's and women's soccer teams hit the road Saturday for pair of Peach Belt Conference matchups.
The women stay in state as they travel to No. 2 Columbus State (11-1-1, 5-0-0 PBC) while the men head to the Sunshine State for a matchup against Flagler (5-6-0, 3-4-0 PBC).

The Lakers (3-5-1, 3-2-0 PBC) will play a top-two team for the second time this season after hosting Flagler College when they were the top team in the nation on Sept. 18. Since then, the Saints have lost twice and have fallen from the rankings. Columbus State suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday after falling 2-1 at No. 20 Florida Tech.
However, the Cougars are 5-0 in conference play and are tied with No. 22 North Georgia at the top of the standings. The two schools meet on Wednesday in Dahlonega, Ga.
Clayton State is coming off a pair of PBC wins after downing Albany State 4-0 and winning at Ga. Southwestern 3-1. The Lakers are tied with Flagler and Lander for third in the conference with nine points.
Reia Henry has scored six goals in the last three games and is tied for fifth in the conference in goals and is eighth in points.
Columbus State is led by Emma Beddow who has eight goals, two assists and is third in the league with 18 points.

The men's team (6-5-2, 5-2-1 PBC) travels to Flagler and will look for the season-sweep over the Saints. On Sept. 25, Clayton State trailed 2-0 before scoring three-unanswered goals to prevail 3-2.
Niall Swan netted the gamewinner in the 87th minute to lead the Lakers to the win.
The Lakers are coming off a pair of conference wins that includes a 4-0 shutout at home against Ga. Southwestern. On Oct. 9, Clayton State took down North Georgia 3-1.
Clayton State has sole possession of second place in the conference with 16 points while Lander is just a point off in third. No. 5 Young Harris is at the top of the standings with 22 points and a 7-0-1 conference record.
Geo Rios leads the team with 20 points and has a conference-best 10 assists.
Langston Blackstock has a team-high six goals and has added three assists while
Alexis Iturria has five goals and three assists.
Rios' 10 assists also ranks second in the nation.
Theo Blachon leads the nation in minutes played and has a conference-best 42 saves.
