MORROW, Ga. - In partnership with IBMSECU, Clayton State Athletics has announced the Community Service Project of the Month for April 2019.

Ordinarily an instance of Laker student-athletes giving back to the community, this month we have a pair of individuals being recognized by a local partner for their continued support of educational efforts.
 
On April 25, Tony LaMarr and Dantez Bennamon were among community members honored by Joseph H. Huie Elementary School as part of their Partner in Education program. Representing Clayton State Athletics, they were presented with a certificate of appreciation during a brief presentation before being treated to lunch.
 
"As a Partner in Education, Clayton State's involvement has helped highlight the importance of working together to support our students and the community," said Mark D. Taylor, Huie Elementary Community/Parent Liaison.
 
Both Bennamon and LaMarr have been highly involved in helping to grow the Department's presence in the community throughout the 2018-19 campaign.
