MORROW, Ga. – Last season saw one of the most memorable and improbable victories in recent memory for Clayton State (2-6-2, 1-2-0 PBC) men's soccer but this year will require an even more impressive effort to repeat that feat as they head to No. 2 Young Harris (11-0-0, 3-0-0 PBC) on Saturday, October 13. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Young Harris, Georgia.
 
While the Lakers are 4-5 all-time against Young Harris, it is that fourth win that truly marks the series. Last year on October 18 at Laker Field, Clayton State stunned the No. 7 ranked Mountain Lions as then sophomore midfielder Dean Foster (Johannesburg, South Africa) drilled the game tying goal in the 69^th minute. He would then drive home the game winner in overtime from 30 yards out on the right wing for a thrilling 4-3 decision.
 
That win was not only one of the most impressive performances in program history but it also snapped five straight wins in the series for YHC. Prior to that run, the Lakers had taken the first three beginning with a 3-1 decision on October 23, 2010.
 
They would win each of the next two years, posting a 4-1 victory in the mountains on September 21, 2011 and again, this time 2-1, at Laker field on October 24, 2012. The latter was the first Peach Belt Conference meeting between the two.
