MORROW, Ga. – For the first time in program history, Clayton State (2-1, 0-0 PBC) will make the trip to Jefferson City, Tennessee as they take on Carson-Newman (1-1, 0-0 SAC) on Saturday, September 9. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
 
It is only the second time these teams have met with the only other coming on October 23, 1998. That day, the Lakers pulled out a 3-2 victory and hold a 1-0 all-time advantage.
