MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (3-3, 0-1 PBC) faces their toughest opponent so far this season as they host No. 21 Limestone (4-1-1, 3-0-0 CC) in an NCAA Division II men's soccer game on Saturday, September 23. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. with Alumni Weekend festivities to begin at 12:30 p.m.
 
The Lakers are 4-2 all-time against the Saints, dating to the first meeting on October 3, 1994. They would win that game 3-0 and take the second one by a 2-1 score on October 24, 2007. The following year on October 29 would be the first time that Clayton State traveled to Gaffney, South Carolina, falling 2-1.
 
Since then the teams have met three times with the Lakers prevailing 5-1 on October 27, 2010 and 3-2 on October 9, 2013. Most recently Limestone notched an 8-2 decision last year on October 15. Heading into that game they were ranked No. 13 in the country. Additionally, Clayton State is a perfect 4-0 at Laker Field.
 
Alumni Weekend will also feature the women's game against Georgia College at approximately 5 p.m. The day will kickoff, however, as the Clayton State Alumni Association and Laker Club host a Blues, BBQ and Beverages celebration from 12:30-2 p.m. Full details can be found at www.Clayton.edu/Alumni-bbq.
