MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (4-5, 0-2 PBC) men's soccer will step out of conference at home one last time as they host Erskine (4-6, 2-3 CC) on Wednesday, October 4. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Laker Field.
 
The Lakers have a stellar 9-2 all-time record against Erskine, including a perfect 6-0 mark at Laker Field. The series dates back to the first meeting on September 13, 1997. Following that 1-0 loss, Clayton State won the next four games as the beginning of an active stretch of nine wins in eight games.
 
That includes 3-1 victories in 2014 and 2015 at Laker Field and a 3-2 decision in Due West on October 5, 2016. The Flying Fleet's most recent victory came by a 3-2 margin in Due West, South Carolina on September 16, 2009. The game will mark the fifth straight season the teams have played, an all-time high in the series.
