MORROW, Ga. – In a battle of teams coming off of overtime outings Clayton State (5-6, 0-2 PBC) men's soccer hosts Georgia Southwestern (4-5-1, 0-2-0 PBC) in a key Peach Belt Conference matchup on Wednesday, October 11. Kickoff is set for a special matinee time of 1 p.m.

The Hurricanes visit Laker Field following a 2-1 overtime victory over Point while Clayton State dropped a narrow 4-3 double overtime decision at defending national champion Wingate. Both of those games were on Saturday, October 7.

The Lakers enter the game leading the all-time series by an impressive 9-2 margin. That series dates back to the first meeting on October 11, 2006 at Laker Field. Clayton State won that matchup 3-2 and sparked six straight wins before the Hurricanes got on the board with a 3-2 decision of their own on October 17, 2012 in Americus. Most recently GSW pulled off a 3-2 win on October 12, 2016.
