Clayton State Set To Host Francis Marion in Second Game of Homestand

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (1-7, 0-3 PBC) returns to Laker Field when they host Francis Marion (2-6-1, 1-2-0 PBC) in Peach Belt Conference action on Saturday, October 1. Game time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. following the women's game.
 
One of the longest standing series in program history, the Lakers are deadlocked 10-10-6 over 26 games with the Patriots dating back to the first meeting on October 8, 1993. After going 0-7-2 in the first nine meetings, Clayton State rebounded for an impressive 12 game unbeaten streak from November 1, 2003 through October 13, 2012. That stretch included three straight ties from October 27, 2007 to October 11, 2009.
