MORROW, Ga. – One of the top teams early in the Peach Belt Conference season, Clayton State (5-2, 2-1 PBC) begins a brief two-game homestand as they host Montevallo (2-4, 1-2 PBC) on Wednesday, September 28. Game time is set for 5 p.m. as the first game of a doubleheader with the men at Laker Field.
 
The Lakers are 11-8-1 all-time against Montevallo dating to the first meeting on September 30, 1995. Clayton State is 5-4-1 at home in the series but 6-1 in league meetings since UM joined the PBC in 2009. They are also unbeaten in the last six meetings, winning five and tying 2-2 on November 5, 2013.
