MORROW, Ga. – Without a doubt, the toughest game of the season awaits Clayton State (2-8, 0-4 PBC) as they host No. 6 Wingate (9-0, 6-0 SAC) on Monday, October 10. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Laker Field.
 
The meeting will be only the third in the history of the two programs with the record standing at 0-1-1. That series dates to October 12, 1997 when the Bulldogs earned a 1-0 win in Wingate, N.C. Following an 18-year hiatus, the series resumed last season with the Lakers securing a 1-1 tie with No. 23 Wingate in Greer, South Carolina. This will be the first meeting at Laker Field.
