MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (1-8, 0-4 PBC) steps out of Peach Belt Conference play for the second-to-last time this season as they travel to Erskine (5-3, 3-1 CC) on Wednesday, October 5. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Due West, S.C.
 
The Lakers have a stellar 8-2 all-time record against Erskine, dating back to the first meeting on September 13, 1997. Following that 1-0 loss, Clayton State won the next four games as the beginning of an active stretch of eight wins in nine games.
 
That includes 3-1 victories in each of the last two seasons, both at Laker Field where they are a perfect 6-0 vs. the Flying Fleet. They are 2-2 on the road and last traveled to Due West, South Carolina on September 16, 2009, dropping a 3-2 decision.
