MORROW, Ga. – After stepping out of conference and facing one of the top teams in the country, Clayton State (2-9-0, 0-4-0 PBC) returns to Peach Belt Conference action as they head to Georgia Southwestern (1-8-1, 0-4-0 PBC) on Wednesday, October 12. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. in Americus, Georgia following the women's game.
 
The Lakers enter the game leading the all-time series by an impressive 9-1 margin. That series dates back to the first meeting on October 11, 2006 at Laker Field. Clayton State won that matchup 3-2 and sparked six straight wins before the Hurricanes got on the board with a 3-2 decision of their own on October 17, 2012 in Americus.
 
Clayton State won last season's meeting 5-1 on Senior Day at Laker Field. This year, both teams are currently fighting for a berth in the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
