With the scored deadlocked at 5-5 at the 6:53 mark, the Lakers offense came alive as they put together a 14-3 run over the next 4:42 to take a 19-8 advantage. Over the rest of the quarter and first 1:36 of the fourth, they would put the game out of reach with a 9-1 run to stretch the lead to 56-39. From there, Clayton State would maintain at least a double-figure lead until the closing minutes when UWG used an 8-1 run to reach the final margin of 63-57.

NOTESThe 1,649 fans is the largest crowd ever at The Loch … the majority of those fans were "A" and "A/B" Honor Roll students from 16 of the 17 middle schools located in Clayton County … each earned a trip to the game in recognition for the outstanding academic achievement.
