Mixed feelings after this one. A great effort by Matt Fabbri to become all-conference and CSC's first national qualifier. The other side is the disappointment in not having enough complete teams (Thank you Georgia Southwestern!) in the women's race. Five full teams and Peterson and Blackmon go. Both listened to their coach and postioned themselves well with Peterson earning all-conference honors. I'll take some of the blame in not reading the fine print before the race. Third place isn't bad in our first year for either team. Leonard Hendrickson ran well, but missed qualifying by less than 30 seconds! We have a solid base to build from for next year.
