Laker Field

Laker Field 7

Laker Field is a natural grass surface that is home to both the men's and women's soccer programs. It is a facility that has hosted both Peach Belt Conference and NCAA Division II Tournament action and is suitable for a number of events. Capable of seating 500 with a permanent set of bleachers on the far side of the field, the facility also sports a smaller practice field adjacent to the main field. Additionally, World Cup style benches and goals are installed at the venue. The facility is also equipped with lighting. Fans can also bring personal lawn chairs to spread out around the spectator seating area.

Beyond its primary use as an athletic venue, Laker Field has also hosted several movie projects during its history. Laker Field was used in the 2018 Melissa McCarthy movie, “Life of the Party.” These film projects have included slight facility adjustments (removal and replacement of banners/ wind screens) that make it a viable venue for these projects as well.
