Senior Marcus Lafleur (Douglasville, Ga.) had an outstanding performance at the Queens Royals XC Challenge (10/7) as he took on one of the most competitive fields in the country.

In a race that featured 39 scoring teams, Lafleur showed that he is just going to continue to get better as he ran a personal best 25:52.10 and placed 47-of-366.

He broke his own personal best by more than six seconds, doing so for the second consecutive week. Previously he ran a 26:59.80 in winning the SCAD Invitational (9/30).
