Graduate forward Iain Smith (Suwanee, Ga.) added to his season goal total in a narrow 3-2 loss at UNC Pembroke (9/21). Down 2-0 past the 70-minute mark, Smith broke through with his fourth goal of the season at 72:42 to get to within one goal. That also set the stage for the Lakers to tie the game minutes later before falling 3-2 on a late score.

On the season he has four goals and three assists for 11 points. He currently is tied for second in goals and points in the Peach Belt Conference and is third in points.
