Graduate midfielder Maria Marti Bartis (Girona, Spain) produced a strong performance over two games last week as the Lakers split a pair of games.

After opening the week at UNC Pembroke (9/21) with five shots in a driving rain storm, Marti Bartis delivered a pair of goals in a 2-1 victory at a strong Georgia College (9/24) team. Not only were they the go-ahead and game-winning goals, but it also marked the 29th and 30th of her career. That places her fourth all-time in program history and just three away from third place.

On the year she has four goals and an assist for 10 points. She is tied for second in the Peach Belt Conference in both goals and points.
