Senior forward Iain Smith (Suwanee, Ga.) delivered an impressive performance over the course of two games this past week, finishing with a pair of goals and two assists.
Smith and the Lakers opened the week at Auburn-Montgomery (9/14), where he would proceed to notch a pair of goals and assist on the other in a 3-1 victory. It took just four shots, three of which were on goal, to net those two scores.
Taking on one of the Peach Belt Conference's top teams in Lander (9/17) he would contribute once again as he assisted on Clayton State's lone score, setting up junior midfielder Ryan King (County Durham, England) for his fourth score of the year.
On the season Smith has produced three goals and three assists in just six games to tie for second in both categories in the Peach Belt. In goals he trails only teammate Ryan King.
