Senior Cale Pirtle (Athens, Ga.) notched one of the best outings of his career at the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Championships as he earned All-Conference honors with a runner-up finish in the 1,500-meters. He would post a time of 3:59.60 and finish less than a second behind the eventual conference champion.

He would follow that up with a 13-of-24 finish in the 1,500-meters (4:03.34) at the primarily Division I Georgia Invitational on Saturday, April 30.
