Senior forward DaQuenna Moore (Plantersville, S.C.) was a key factor in Clayton State running their record to 12-1 with three more victories this past week, all of which were in the Peach Belt Conference. Over the course of three games she averaged 14.7 points, 7.3 rebounds,1.7 steals and 1.0 assists in just 25 minutes per game.
She opened the week against Montevallo (1/4), putting up 13 points and 13 rebounds to go along with an assist in 28 minutes of work. Five of those boards came off of the offensive glass in the 65-51 victory.
Moore had her top offensive performance of the week in her next outing against Armstrong State (1/6). She scored 17 on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and grabbed four boards while notching two assists and a pair of steals. That helped the Lakers to a key 79-70 win over the Pirates.
The senior center would finish the week playing at North Georgia (1/9). In that game she played just 16 minutes but put up 14 points, five rebounds and three steals to help Clayton State remain undefeated in the PBC with a 73-71 victory.
