Sophomore guard Nathan Powell (Orlando, Fla.) delivered an impressive start to the 2015-16 season as he earned the Chick-fil-A Forest Park Dwarf House Male Student-Athlete of the Month for November.
In three games, and just an average of 20 minutes a game, Powell averaged 10.3 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals. That performance helped the Lakers to a perfect 3-0 start.

Among his individual performances were 10 points, eight assists and four rebounds in an 80-54 win at Lane (11/18) and nine points, seven assists and six boards (four offensive) in a 102-73 win against Carver (11/25). Powell closed out the month with 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 76-63 decision at a solid Saint Leo (11/29) program.
