Senior Timi'a Swanson (Americus, Ga.) came off the bench on both games this past week as the women's basketball team went 1-1 to open the season. In the season-opener against UNC Pembroke (Jan. 6), Swanson scored a game-high 21 points and pulled down five rebounds in the win. 

In the loss at Lander, Swanson scored six points and had six rebounds, four steals and one assist.
