Junior goalkeeper Theo Blachon (St. Etienne, France) continues to cement himself as one of the best in the country as he recorded his sixth shutout of the season to tie for the NCAA Division II lead with a 2-0 victory at Georgia Southwestern (10/5).
 
That win opened Peach Belt Conference action and gave the Lakers a league best seventh win as he made five saves while playing all 90 minutes. That effort would lower his goals against average to a PBC leading 0.44 and mark him as the league leader in saves (36) and save percentage (.900) as well as tie for the fewest goals allowed (4) in the most games of any keeper.
 
As a team, he has Clayton State leading the league with six shutouts (by two) and has produced the lowest goals against average at 0.44 of any team.
 
Individually at the national level, as of the end of last week, Blachon is tied for the most shutouts in the country, is eighth in save percentage and 14th in goals against average.
