Junior Jasmine Radford (Lawrenceville, Ga.) delivered once again as she repeated as Peach Belt Conference Champion in the 200-meters at the 2019 league championships from April 19-21.
Â
With her time of 26.21 in that event, she became the first Laker in the history of the women’s track & field program to win multiple individual titles and drove her All-PBC career total to four, all over the past two seasons.
Â
That included a second such honor at this year’s championships when the 4x100-meter relay consisting of her, sophomore Chaviya Jackson (Albany, Ga.) and juniors Nia Elmore (Hinesville, Ga.) and Shockera Betty (Tallahassee, Fla.) notched a time of 48.46. That was good for a 3-of-7 finish and All-Conference honors.
