Freshman Brian Sims, Jr. had somewhat of a coming out party as he hits full stride during the outdoor season, shown this past week at the Emory Invitational (3/22-23).

Competing in four events he anchored those with a 6-of-59 finish in the 400-meters (49.60) and added a 10-of-60 outing in the 200-meters (22.47).

The speedy newcomer also placed 15-of-46 in the 100-meters with a time of 11.24 and was part of a 4x100-meter relay that finished 8-of-22 (42.66).
