Competing at the Savannah State Eye Opener, freshman Janei Sewell (Newnan, Ga.) notched three Top-10 finishes to lead the Lakers.

Highlighting those was a 3-of-14 outing in the 4x400-meter relay (3:22.93) with junior Chris Florence (Newnan, Ga.), sophomore Courtland White (Rex, Ga.) and freshman Churchill Ezeokonkwo (Riverdale, Ga.).

Individually he was 5-of-52 in the 200-meters with a time of 22.82 and 7-of-48 in the 100-meters (11.26).
