Junior defender Manoly Baquerizo (Guayaquil, Ecuador) made the most of her one game on the week as she produced five points in a 4-1 win over Francis Marion (10/13).

A game of critical importance as the Lakers fight for Peach Belt Conference Tournament positioning, Baquerizo was critical in securing the victory. She got the scoring started as she drove home the first goal for a 1-0 lead at 19:11, had the assist on the goal that made it 3-1 (42:11) and put the capper on the three goal victory with a one-on-one score at the 87:14 mark.

On the year she has seven goals, three assists and 17 points to lead the team in all three categories. Her goal total is tied for sixth in the PBC while her point total is seventh.
