Junior midfielder Tom Mitchinson (Middlesbrough, England) entered on to the scene with one of the best first month’s in recent memory to earn Chick-fil-A Forest Park Dwarf House Male Student-Athlete of the Month honors for October.

The playmaking transfer erupted for seven assists along with a goal for nine points, all in just eight games. Both his assist total and his 0.88 assist per game average tied for the NCAA Division II national lead following the game against Auburn-Montgomery (9/27).
 
That outing saw him produce a program record-tying three assists for the second time this season, equaling his feat against Southern Wesleyan (9/13). He would also pick up an assist in his very first game at Queens (8/31) and a goal in a 3-0 decision over Montevallo (9/7) in his first home game.
