Junior T.J. Witherspoon (Thomasville, Ga.) delivered an 8k personal best in leading Clayton State to a 3-of-9 finish at the Cougar Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 23.

His time of 27:07.86 was good for a 9-of-75 finish and surpassed his previous best of 27:23.30 set at the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Championships (10/22).
