Clayton State men’s Distance Medley Relay places second at Virginia Tech Challenge

BLACKSBURG, Va. – February 17, 2012 – The Clayton State Laker men's track and field team finished second overall in its lone event on Friday at the Virginia Tech Challenge at Rector Field House.

The Laker Distance Medley relay team of Charles Anderson, Shelby Russell, Edlin Veras and Ayrton Azcue finished second overall with a time of 10:20.96. Clayton State finished behind Winston-Salem State and ahead of Concord. Winston Salem State won the event in 10:15.16.
