Clayton State soccer match at Limestone cancelled due to the weather
Gaffney, SC – Clayton State's men's soccer match at Limestone College in Gaffney, SC, was cancelled Saturday evening due to the weather.
The players were pulled off the field due to lightning in the 33rd minute. After a long delay and the threat of more thunderstorms on the horizon, the game was cancelled. The match, which was scoreless at the time of the delay, will not count in the standings.
Clayton State will return to action on Wednesday, hosting Tusculum in a non-confernece match at Laker Field.
