Vetnar named Peach Belt Conference Golfer of Week

Morrow, GA  – Clayton State's men's golf team fared well earlier this week in North Alabama's TVA Credit Union Invitational, and one of the squad's top players is being recognized for his stellar play in the event.

Clayton State junior Alex Vetnar was named the Peach Belt Conference Golfer of the Week after placing second in the tournament. Vetnar, from Glendale, AZ, finished with a 4-under par score of 212 on the par-72, 7,133 yard course at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen, AL. Vetnar finished with rounds of 68, 75 and 69.  

Clayton State will close its fall season on Oct. 28-29 in the Matt Dyas Memorial Collegiate at Oak Mountain Golf Club in Carrollton, GA. The tournament will be hosted by West Georgia.
