Four Women's Soccer Players Recognized as CSC Academic All-District Selections

MORROW, Ga. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) unveiled its selections for the Women's Soccer Academic All-District team on Tuesday afternoon.  The Lakers saw four women's soccer student-athletes on that list spans over the three divisions of the NCAA and the NAIA. 
 
Ida Ditlevsen, Lois Beer, Lisa Kelm, and Chloe Flannaghan were selected as the CSC Academic All-District honorees.  This is the first selection for all four of those student-athletes. The Lakers were one of four Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools (GCSU, Lander & Flagler) that saw at least one player on the list. 
 
A native of Naestved, Denmark, Ditlevsen earned her first career Academic All-District selection.  This season, ida played in all 17 matches and notched an assist in the match against GCSU on October 4th.  Ida is no stranger to academic accolades as she is a three-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll recipient and is a two-time PBC Team of Academic Distinction honoree.  The Laker midfielder has been with the Lakers since the 2020 season and has been one of the best table setters for Coach Henderson throughout her career. 
 
A native of Swindon, England, Beer has earned this honor for the first time in her career.  This season, Lois played in 16 matches and notched a pair of assists against Albany State on October 28th.  In her three-year career, Beer is also no stranger to academic attention as she is a three-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll recipient, and she earned the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award this past summer.  A Native of Germany, Lisa Kelm was the starting goalkeeper for Coach Henderson for 12 matches this season.  In those 12 matches, Kelm made 41 saves and conceded 20 goals.  Last season, Kelm earned her first PBC academic accolade as she gathered PBC Presidential Honor Roll honors. 
 
A native of Whitley Bay, England, Flannaghan rounds out the selections for the CSC Academic All-District team.  On the field, she was one of two Lakers to be selected as an All-Conference selection as she earned second-team honors.  This season, Chloe scored four goals and notched four assists.  Her four assists and four goals are good for third on the team.
 
CSC Academic All-America teams are released on Tuesday, December 19th at 12 p.m. Eastern Time.
