Support the Lakers ... Purchase Official Gear or Join the Laker Club

MORROW, GA – The Clayton State Department of Athletics has put the finishing touches on a couple of updates to its Athletics website.

 The department announces the launching of a new online giving site, where Clayton State fans can join the program’s Laker Club, along with the addition of the program’s first online store for official Clayton State Athletics gear.

 The giving site can be found at www.claytonstatesports.com/Support_the_Lakers/LakerClub, while the new site for Laker athletic gear is simply at www.claytonstategear.com.

 The online giving site features information on how to join the Laker Club, and how through the generous gifts from friends and supporters Clayton State student-athletes achieve excellence. The site has links to a message from Athletic Director Carl McAloose, a printable version of the Laker Club brochure and also a link to the online credit card giving system.

 Clayton State’s new fan shop is a partnership with the University’s Loch Shop, allowing Laker fans the ability to do all their shopping online, with one easy click of the mouse.

 Todd Smith, manager of the University’s Loch Shop, says the online store is devoted exclusively to selling Laker athletic gear from Adidas to Under Armour.

 “Our new custom fan shop, www.claytonstategear.com, allows the Loch Shop to offer its customers a larger number of items than we have space to offer in our current bricks and mortar location,” notes Smith, who adds that The Loch Shop splits the proceeds from every sale with the Athletics Department.

 Jessica Valadez, the developer of the new site and college program manager for Advanced-Online, says that www.claytonstategear.com should have between 300 to 500 products available online, and will continue to add new products throughout the year. She also promises to run monthly promotions (the current one is a gift with a $50 purchase) throughout the year as well.
