MORROW, Ga. – March 14, 2012 – Need something for your children to do during the upcoming spring break? Do they love soccer? Then Clayton State will be the place for you during that dreaded one-week hiatus from school.

The Clayton State Athletic Department will be hosting a Spring Break Soccer Camp at Laker Field from April 2-6. The camp will be run by Clayton State men’s head soccer coach Pete Petersen and women’s head coach Gareth O’Sullivan, and it’s for children and youth – boys and girls - ages 6-17. There is a choice between the full day camp and the half-day camp, with the full day camp costing $125 and half-day camp costing $65.

The full day camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, while the half-day camps go from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The soccer camps at Clayton State are designed to develop individual technique skills, including passing, dribbling, ball control, shooting and tackling as well as team tactics. The camps combine small group instruction as well as game play to ensure development of fundamental skills and game knowledge.
